This is one tough machine for sail making and other heavy-Duty Zig-Zag work.
For medium to heavy weight fabric that requires a longer bed plate, the 5600SW is perfect - with top and bottom feed and upper feed adjustment dial for easy settings.

Key Features
NEEDLE POSITIONER
The needle positioning feature automatically stops the needle in the up or down position, eliminating the need for the operator to manually reach over to turn the hand wheel.
TOP LOAD BOBBIN
To assist with long seams and frequent bobbin changes, the 5600SW is equipped with a top loading bobbin.
UPPER FEED ADJUSTMENT
For heavier seam clearance, a step adjustment from a minimum of 2mm to a maximum of 6mm.
BUILT-IN BOBBIN WINDER
For added convenience, the bobbin winder on the 5600SW is built-in to the front of the machine head.
STITCH DIAL REGULATOR
The stitch dial provides a simple adjustment (0-9 mm) for the length of the stitch.
BOBBIN THREAD CUTTER
Conveniently cut the bobbin thread with the supplied thread cutter.
REVERSE LEVEL MECHANISM
Creating the perfect back tack is easy with the 5600SW's reverse lever mechanism.
AUTOMATIC SAFETY CLUTCH
If thread or a needle should get stuck in the hook assembly, the safety clutch will automatically disengage the hook driving mechanism, ensuring there is no damage to the the machine or the hook.
